CASE MANAGER
Description: Responsible for providing support to Attorneys settling Class
Action Lawsuits and Class Members who are involved in these Lawsuits. These services
include the Coordination of Settlement Administration and Pre-Settlement activities
as detailed below:
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for overseeing each and every detail
listed below on each of the cases you will be Administering. As well as making sure
those internally involved in each department are following through on their responsibilities
for your cases.
1. Initial Case Setup- including reading all case documents for understanding, providing
claims with appropriate file folders, set up mail boxes and case baskets.
2. Draft a phone center summary from template and keep phone center informed of
status of cases at all times.
3. Update case information in software.
4. Handle incoming mail, organize sorting of claims, exclusions and claimant correspondence.
5. Proofread documents. Read claimant correspondence including address
changes, and inform case manager of any issues.
6. Effective phone work including inbound and outbound calls from/to claimants on
routine issues.
7. Draft letters using templates (deficiency letter, requests for additional information,
check transmittal letters and denial letters)
8. Review contents of the Work Basket weekly to make sure things are not overlooked.
9. File everything that has been appropriately processed.
10. Organize Scanning and proofing of claims, exclusions, objections, etc…
11. Keep access tables (the case data) up to date.
12. Sorts and reviews deficiencies and disputes.
13. Update Weekly Status Reports and create reports as requested by clients.
14. Proof RUM (returned undeliverable mail) and Address Searches
15. Supervise Secondary Mailings (Re-mails, deficiency letters, denial letters,
reminder letters, etc).
16. Proof documents for Barcode/Correct Information.
17. Oversee the folding, stuffing, mailing of secondary letters.
18. Maintains the Case timetable reminding the Case Manager of important upcoming
dates ie. Declarations, Disbursement Dates etc…
19. Helping the CPA’s & Disbursement Agent Calculate what is owed to class members.
20. Reconciling the Disbursement Accounts, and Filling the Final Reporting
with the Courts.

2. or Associates Degreee/Equivalent Experience- 2-5yrs in Administrative Work in
a Law Firm
3. Leadership/Management Courses a plus

5. or Juris Doctorate.

3) Database Developer
Description: Responsible for providing support to the case managers and supporting
services provided by to clients namely, attorneys and class members. These
services include the development and compilation of data into useable formats for
settlement administration and pre-settlement activities as detailed below:
1. Initial Case Setup- Taking Raw data in formats from ASCII, TXT, CSV, dBASE,
SQL, DIF, KDP, STH, CRL, ARM, MAM, MAR, MAP, MAQ, MAT, MDB, etc…
We compile data from multiple sources and then work with it in a SQL database.
2. Link the Case Database to the Call Center and Develop an Entry Page
for Customer Service Reps to enter Case Specific Information, as well as view the
pertinent information regarding this case.
3. Link the Outgoing/Incoming Mail Management System, and Case Processing
Software, which tracks the Claim Form Information, Exclusions and Claimant Correspondence.
4. Review contents of the Work Basket weekly to make sure things are not overlooked.
5. Keep access tables (the case data) up to date.
6. Create Weekly Status Reports and create reports as requested by clients.
